How it Works & Dosage (Monotherapy - 1 Pumps/Day):
- Delivery: For maximum absorption, apply the estradiol valerate gel to the thinnest areas of skin, typically the inner upper arm or wrists.
- Absorption: The valerate ester is metabolized into estradiol, the active form of estrogen, gradually over time. This slow release minimizes the need for frequent dosing.
- Monotherapy – 1 Pumps/Day: The typical monotherapy dose for HRT using estradiol valerate gel is 1 pumps (approximately 4mg) applied daily to the skin. For a higher dose, two pumpts (8mg) can be applied daily, spread throughout the day. This provides a consistent and relatively stable estrogen level. Important: a higher dose does not equal faster or better feminisation! Make sure to keep blood levels in check.
